This solution is the first MP4/PMP design that supports RM/RMVB video format. ADSP-BF533 is high-performance Blackfin^®embedded processor specially designed for audio and video processing and low power-consumption. HHTech. fully utilizes its advantages in embedded linux ope-ration system and audio video algorithm to design ADSP-BF533 based solu-tion. HHTech. also commits in-depth cooperation with ADI to carry out inno-vative applications in the solution.

Before HHTech. delivers this solution, MP4/PMP in market only supports few video format. Video downloaded from internet must be converted on PC to other format before users can play it in MP4/PMP, and this leads to bad con-sumer-experience. With RM/RMVB format supported MP4/PMP, users can en-joy RMV video directly downloaded from internet, thus make full use of video function of the MP4. In this solution provided by HHTech, USB 2.0 high speed interface that can shorten download time is also an unique function.

Besides these functions innitiated by HHTech., this solution deploys embe-dded Linux operation system. It supports AVI (MPEG4 XVID), delivering video decoding performance at VGA resolution with 30 frames per second (fps). It supports MP3、WMA、OGG、APE、FLAC、WAV audio, as well as JPEG、GIF、BMP、PNG photos, and previewing, zooming in and out,paralelling pictures.

Realme-dia decoding is as complex as H.264 decoding, while H.264 decoding is over three times as complex as MPEG4 decoding.
